2 Meter Copper J-pole

"Woody" KCWA has contributed plans for making a 2 Meter Copper J Pole that he drew up many years ago.  He has made dozens of these and they have been in service for decades.

Instead of using "plumbing" solder, I have found it easier to use regular rosin-core solder with pre-fluxing the connections with rosin-flux. The electrical connection is much surperior over plumber-solder. Also, don't forget to clean the copper before attempting soldering, otherwise you will waste material (solder and flux) as well as time. I have built over 40 J-Pole's with this method without a failure. Happy experimenting.
