GIVE CREDIT TO KB4XJ FOR THE DESIGN.  I FOUND THIS ANTENNA ON
hamuniverse.com . THE DESIGN IS A V SHAPE AND THE ELEMENTS ARE HORIZONTAL AND ARE 90 DEGREES APART. THE ANTENNA IS A DIPOLE WHICH OFFERS AN IMPEDANCE IN THE 50 OHM RANGE.
THE ELEMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE INSULATED AT THE MOUNTING POINT AND THE COAX CAN BE
WIRED DIRECTLY TO EACH ELEMENT. YOU WILL HAVE TO READ ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE
SINGLE ELEMENT AND THE SIMPLICITY OF DESIGN. WITH THE UPCOMING CYCLE FOR 6M, 10M AND
15METERS, AND BUILDING ONE FOR EACH BAND WOULD BE A GREAT WAY TO HAVE A BETTER SIGNAL
THAN A DIPOLE COULD OFFER. LOOKS LIKE MORE ANTENNA BUILDING COMING UP THIS SPRING.
ANY COMMENTS ABOUT PERFORMANCE AFTER YOU BUILD YOURS WOULD BE WELCOME.
THANKS PAUL K0YNE  http://www.hamuniverse.com/1elbeam.html
