For several years I have visualized a computer acting as a noise blanker. The radio's audio would be fed into a computer and would interact with a program that could take certain pulses for example and create a “same” amplitude pulse, but 180 degrees out of phase. There would be some time lost during this process. Now add a delaying circuit to the “live” audio and time the processed signal with the “live” signal to match the delay time perfectly. The output should be” clean” of the noise burst for example. With a more complex noise, the copy of it's time duration and amplitude could also be replicated easily by using a computer to track the complex waveform.I hope someone can write such a program, and if so, it could be a new step in eliminating noise…$$$$$$$$……………Paul K0YNE Any commentary would be helpful.
