The National Weather Service will be presenting their annual Weather Class for Adams County on Feb. 25, 2015.  The class will start at 6:30 and will take about 90 minutes.  It will held at the Lincoln Park Fire Station (1145 S. Hastings Ave.)  Treats and drinks will be served.

This is a good refresher for local fire departments, current spotter, Ham radio operators.  This is also a good class for those who have expressed interest in volunteering as a spotter for the Hastings area.

If you have any questions or want to RSVP please email me back.

    Thanks

Well,  We had about 8 Amateurs there.  For such a cold night, I though we had a good turnout.  The Amateurs that were there probably made up 1/3 of all people there.  That is a good number.  For those interested, PECAN that they talked about can be found here:  https://www.eol.ucar.edu/field_projects/pecan

Should be an interesting year.  If you are interested in helping with Weather Reporting let us know.
